Specialty Wire Coils

Specialty wire coils can be provided for a variety of catheter and other 

device applications such as:

       ·       Catheter tubing reinforcement

       ·       Radio-opaque markers

       ·     Endoscopic assemblies

       ·       Flexible torque shafts

       ·       Miscellaneous subassemblies

Coils can be produced using round or flat wires, in close-wound or

open-wound configurations.

Tapered diameters and variable-pitch sections can be accommodated.

End-grinding and ultrasonic cleaning capabilities are available.

ViaMed currently has a number of winding machines to fabricate

coils in a wide range of wire sizes and coil diameters and lengths. 

We are able to quote on prototype runs through high-volume

production quantities.
